Living in Gratitude Every Moment

All the earthquakes, storms, flooding, loss of jobs, fires, etc. remind us that our lives can change instantly. I believe that our only protection is our intuition. It is our all wise part that can guide us to safety and another job or opportunity.
This way of life is especially powerful when we live from gratitude.

I often say the words, "I am grateful for or to ____." Thanksgiving is a holiday that reminds us to express our gratitude and not take anyone or anything for granted. By the way, that includes you and what you do or say. So, set you intent to be grateful for all that you are and all that you have. That is one of the secrets to happiness.

Making a Difference Now!

A wise speaker shared how important it is to stop complaining. We do not need reasons all the time. We do need to observe and accept what is. Then focus on improving the situation if you can.

Sometimes I have to remind myself to shift in this way and it is very empowering. I often suggest to complaining clients that they focus on a solution. Their energy perks up and they feel more hopeful.

We do make a difference when we accept, avoid judging, and do what we can to make a difference. How are you making a difference? You know you can, by just staying in your peace, love and joy.

No More Excuses! Awaken Now!

We live in a time when so much information is available in the media, books, CDs, e-books, mp3 audios, workshops, classes, etc. It is available to all who are tired of struggling and feeling like a victim. On TV, Oprah Winfrey has shared so much, and Dr. Oz is offering many wonderful insights and solutions to help us be healthy and happy. It is time that we take our health, well-being happiness into our own hands. With all the support available also on the internet, and with determination we can change our lives. We can live in love, joy, health and abundance. Gor for it!

Loving Relationships

Do you know of anyone who is successfully maintaining a loving relationship? Or do you know of many people who have broken up with their loved ones, or are staying in an unloving relationship?
Could it be that we just don't know how or what it takes to have long lasting, loving relationships? That is what I would say, as a Marriage Therapist. We are unique but our problems are not. In my observation, we are doomed for failure because of the lack of insights and solutions needed.

Would we be expected to build a home without learning how and having a manual? How crazy it is to assume that we can build a loving home life without instructions or tools. I advocate that everyone study how to have loving relationships. There is so much information out there in the form of classes, workshops, books and CDs. I have learned so much from my personal life and my clients and I love sharing my books and CDs. Let's set the goal of creating great relationships! We want them and we can do it! Let's go for it!

How to Stay in your Peace During These Times& Make A Difference

As you well know, lots is happening in the world. Turmoil is rampant in our earth, oceans, economy and governments. As a therapist, I often see the turmoil in so many individuals, couples and families-- and this is in middle and upper class democratic America. Our news of domestic violence, gang murders, drunken driving accidents, shootings in schools never seem to end. The names just change. And now politicians in our government are trying to erase many years of costly fights for women and workers freedoms. To make sense out of this insanity, I perceive all problems and crisis as caused by our fears, and that includes anger, greed, control and abuse. Societies have still not learned that the most important things we have to teach our children are about loving themselves, communicating constructively, dealing with their feelings in healthy ways, and doing unto others want you want others to do unto you. Also, about tolerance of others beliefs and living from integrity and kindness. Schools must include how to be in healthy marriages and raise loving, caring children. When will we wake up to what is really important and what needs to be number one in our priorities, if we want a peaceful, caring world. All I can do is continue to help people to love themselves to peace and share their love and caring with others. Of course, I also need to be a model of good communication and living from integrity. If everyone would transform today to be the loving person they basically are, there would be instant world peace. Since everything is energy, I believe that we can even calm the earth and oceans. Our wonderful advanced technology has not stopped the violence. It is our hearts that need to be advanced much more than our technology, if we are to be in peace. Let's wake-up now and be the best caring people we can be to everyone, including ourselves. Let's make a positive difference in the world. What we do, say, and think does make a difference!

2012 - Time of Transformation

Wow! I can't believe it has been a year since I wrote a blog. I stopped because of the lack of response. And I felt motivated to comment now on the happenings in the Middle East.

I wish that there will be a peaceful transition of power from dictators to the people. I support democracy as it is everyones' human right to be free and choose their leaders. It is also their right to have opportuntities to speak their truth, serve others, and receive the funds they need to take care of themselves and their families. I am praying that the dictators will let go of their control and listen to the people they are leading.

I have the thought that this spontaneous happening is no coincidence. This year we are preparing for the shift in 2012. It is not the end of the world. It has been predicted that it will be the end of corruption and greed. It will be a time of new beginnings--of treating all people with respect, dignity and fairness.
